Xavi Hernandez has spoken some words as regards his appointment as Barcelona’s new manager.
Barcelona confirmed Xavi, a club legend, as their new manager on Friday.
Xavi, signed a two-and-half-year deal, with Barcelona after saying his goodbyes to Qatari side, Al-Sadd ahead of his return to the Blaugrana.
Barcelona expect Xavi, who replaces Ronald Koeman, to arrive at the club this weekend ahead of his official presentation and first press conference at the Nou Camp on Monday.
Speaking after Barcelona confirmed his return to the club, Xavi said in an emotional video:
“It wasn’t goodbye. It was see you soon.
“The Camp Nou has always been my home. You are my fans, my people, the club that I love the most. And now, I’m coming home. See you soon, Culers. Forca Barca!”
