Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has told Marina Granovskaia, the club’s Director, to get him PSG midfielder, Marco Verratti, this summer transfer window.
According to the UK Express, Tuchel pointed out the name of Verratti to Granovskaia during a conversation between the pair and informed her of his desire to reunite with his former player.
Tuchel coached the Italian midfielder during his time at PSG before he joined Chelsea last January.
Verratti was a vital component of the PSG team under Tuchel and often praised him for his managerial style and vice versa.
The 28-year-old has also expressed his desire to play in England one day.
Meanwhile, It remains to be seen if PSG are open to letting one of their best midfielders leave the French Ligue 1 champions.
Verratti has faced injury issues over the last few seasons but still remains one of the best technical players in Europe.
