Barcelona star Lionel Messi is undoubtedly one of the greatest footballers to have graced the beautiful game…hence it’s no surprise he travels in some style.
The talismanic no 10 launched a jaw-dropping private jet to take him and his family and friends around the world in deluxe conditions.
An Argentine company made a plane customised for the 31-year-old and his family which includes a kitchen, two bathrooms and 16 seats that can be folded to make eight beds, Goal writes.
On the exterior, it has been branded with his signature number 10 on the tail, so anyone who sees it will know the Argentina icon has landed.
It even has the names of the Argentine magician, his wife, Antonella, and their three sons, Thiago, Ciro and Mateo, written on the steps.
Although Messi has not bought the plane, it has been leased to him by the company, who will be hoping to turn it into a smart business venture by attracting future wealthy rentors who are curious to travel in the plane that carried one of the world’s best.
He unveiled the jet after a weekend in which he bagged two mesmerizing free-kick goals and an assist in his side’s 4-0 win over Espanyol.
The five-time ballon d’Or winner will hope to be among the goals later tonight when Barca host Tottenham Hotspurs in the Champions League.
