Wizkid won big at the just concluded MOBO Awards 2017 that took place in Leeds at the First Direct Arena.
Wizkid won the category of Best international Act against fellow nominees which are big American artistes and legends such as JayZ, Cardi-B, Solange, Drake, SZA, DJ Khaled, Travis Scott, Migos and Kendrick Lamar.
The singer floored big american artistes to clinch the best international act award and has gained several accolades from his industry colleagues and fans.
Wizkid has since taken to his Instagram to thank his fans, saying it’s for Africa.
‘Thank u @moboawards ! this one is important for Africa! ❤ Blessings and love forever ??’, the ‘Come Closer’ singer wrote.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan and Ben Bruce have both hailed Wizkid on His MOBO Best International act win.
