Former NBA star, Chris Webber and his wife, Erika are in an ecstatic mood as they welcomed a set of twins after 8 years of trying.
The five-time NBA All-Star and retired professional basketball player Chris Webber became a father for the first time in his life, just in time for Father’s Day.
Webber shared a picture of his cute babies with the caption,
“So thankful. After many years of trying and more than a few heartbreaks we were blessed with these little ones. Thank you @mrserikawebber.”
Erika posted a lovely family photo with the following motivational words:
“Grateful… 8 years waiting for our family to grow, and we were double blessed. Never underestimate the power of prayer, even when “they” tell you it’s impossible…”
Webber and his wife married in 2009 and have been trying to conceive for eight years.
The 44-year-old former NBA star’s rise to sports fame began when he led the group of players known as the Fab Five at the University of Michigan in 1991. He was drafted into the NBA in 1993 as the number one overall draft pick.
