Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has hit out at the latest transfer reports regarding his future, asking the media to “stay out of my business.”
Lukaku, 23, has long been linked with an exit from Everton this summer, with former club Chelsea and Manchester United among the clubs reported to hold an interest.
A report in The Sun claimed that the Belgium international would prefer a summer move to United as he has reservations over playing for Antonio Conte at Chelsea due to his pressing style and the defensive responsibilities that come with it.
However, Lukaku has expressed his disapproval with the speculation on Twitter, requesting that the media wait until something has been made official regarding his future before reporting on it.
A move to United would see Lukaku reunite with Jose Mourinho — the man who sold him from Chelsea to Everton in 2014.
Lukaku is currently the Premier League’s top scorer for the season with 24 goals, three more than his nearest rival, Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
