Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has ruled out a January move for Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Schweinsteiger’s future at United has been the subject of conjecture with the German yet to make a Premier League appearance this season.
It has been speculated the player could leave when the transfer window reopens on Jan. 1, although Mourinho indicated this week that Schweinsteiger could stay.
One club he will not be heading to are Gladbach, with Eberl saying the German side have no plans to make a move for his services.
Schweinsteiger has made 18 Premier League appearances for United since joining the club on a free transfer from Bayern in 2015.
