Victor Ikpeba has backed Nigeria to beat Algeria in Saturday’s Fifa World Cup qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.
The Super Eagles sit atop Group B with three points following their 2-1 win over Zambia in October, and the former African footballer of the year says the technical crew must employ the right formation to help the players conquer the Greens.
“Nigeria has what it takes to win,” Ikpeba told Supersport

“With the right formation and the current form of the players I believe we can beat Algeria.
“Nigeria are leading the group with three points. With Mikel Obi in his better form and playing a leadership role in the match and Victor Moses in the right wing-back position, Nigeria will get a win.
“With the team’s mindset of winning and with the support of the fans I believe we have what it takes to win the match.”
