Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti is coveted by Europe’s biggest clubs, including Juventus, according to his agent.
Verratti, 23, only signed a contract extension with PSG in February this year, but Donato Di Campli has told Tuttosport the Italy international is keen to win something more significant than the Ligue 1 title and this could lead him to move away from France.
“Marco is priceless. If you go to Paris with €100 million, they certainly don’t need that money,” Di Campli said.
“I already told you they wouldn’t sell Blaise Matuidi and they didn’t. I said the same about Edinson Cavani and Verratti.
“However, Marco is very happy in Paris, but he wants to win something more important than the French League title. For example, the Champions League or even another League that is more prestigious than the French one.
“Marco has settled in perfectly, but at the same time he cannot do without winning the Champions League. If he were to leave, it’d require guarantees on the squad and ambitions.
“I think it’s no secret that Juventus are interested in Verratti, as are the biggest European clubs.”
