Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has said he believes summer signing Ahmed Musa will add to the attacking threat posed by the Premier League champions.
Leicester wrapped up the signing of Nigeria forward Musa from CSKA Moscow in July.
The 23-year-old, who signed a four-year contract, moved for a reported £16 million.
He played the second half of Leicester’s 2-1 Community Shield defeat to Manchester United on Sunday, and Schmeichel told reporters: “Musa, his pace is frightening.
“We’ve got some great options going forward, bags of pace.”
Schmeichel said Claudio Ranieri’s men would be ready for the challenge of trying to repeat their incredible title triumph.
He added: “I didn’t experience any complacency when I walked into the dressing room. I experienced a bunch of players who were just as hungry as last season.”
