Samsung unveils Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge – Samsung has today unveiled the latest installments in its flagship Galaxy line, the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge.
The two phones were launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and are set to go on sale on the 11th of March.
Unlike with the last edition, where both S6 and S6 Edge were of the same size, the S7 Edge is now 5.5 inches, bigger than the 5.1-inch S7.
The phones are packing heavy internal hardware-wise, coming with 4GB of ram and a 64-bit octacore (2.3GHz Quad + 1.6GHz Quad) processor.
The S7 and S7 Edge see a return of expandable memory to the line, with both phones coming with an internal memory of 32 GB and expandable memory of up to 200GB. Waterproofing has also returned to the line, with the S7 and S7 Edge immersible in water for up to 30 minutes.
Battery life has been bumped up in the new phones, with the S7 armed with a 3000mAh battery and a 3600mAh battery in the S7 Edge.

Screen: 2560 X 1440 resolution; 577ppi for the the Galaxy S7 and 534ppi for the Galaxy S7 Edge.
