Former Nigerian Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala paid a tribute to her son on her Facebook page.
Uzodinma Iweala is the author of the book Beasts of No Nation which was adapted into a movie by Netflix.
The lead character in the movie was played by award winning British actor, Idris Elba, and the movie has gone on to win several awards internationally.
The movie was recently screened at The White House for anaudience that included American president Barack and Michelle Obama.

Congratulations to my son, Uzodinma Iweala, who spoke at the White House about child soldiers before a special screening of the movie based on his book, Beasts of No Nation.
