The University of Agriculture, Makurdi (UAM) wishes to invite all Graduands (2012/2013 Academic Session), Parents, Guardians and General Public as well as Friends of the University to her 21st Convocation. The Activities for the celebration are scheduled below:

Saturday, 24th January 2015.
Event: Award of First Degrees/Postgraduate Diplomas and Higher Degrees. Conferment of Honorary Degree on Gen. Martin Luther Agwai, (rtd) CFR, Chairman, SURE-P
Time: 8.00am to 1.00pm

GENERAL INFORMATION
i. The Convocation will involve the students who graduated in 2012/2013 academic session all programmes.
ii. Academic robes will be available for collection from Academic Office, Postgraduate School and College Officers, from Wednesday 21st January, 2015 upon presentation of evidence of payment of the prescribed charges as follows:
First Degree – N2000.00
Master Degree/Post Graduate Diploma – N 3,000.00
Ph.Degree – N 5,000.00
iii.The above charges are to be paid at Bursary Department of the University.
iv.The Deadline for returning the Academic robes is Tuesday 27th January, 2015 after which a late submission charge of One Thousand Naira (N1,000.00) per day will be paid.
v.Damage or loss of an academic robe will attract penalty.
vi.The Postgraduate academic robes can be purchased at production price after the Convocation.
vii.The Convocation Brochure will be distributed to accredited graduands inside the hall.
viii.The Certificates for graduating students are available for collection after the convocation.
