Boko Haram: MAUTECH Closed Indefinitely Over Possible Attack from Boko Haram

Latest report reaching our news desk has it that Malam Hassan Tanko the Acting Registrar of Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Mautech, formerly known as Adamawa State University, Mubi, yesterday announced a temporal closure of the school over possible attack from boko haram sect.

While speaking with newsmen, Malam Hassan Tanko said the closure is as a result of a possible Boko Haram attack on the school.

The statement, which directed students to go home, stated that the university was closed indefinitely for security reasons.

Mubi, 25 kms from Gulak which was annexed Saturday by Boko Haram Islamic Caliphate, appears to be the next target for the militants.
